Find your pattern.
Straight
Sleek and glass-like with almost no natural volume, straight wears well for sharp middle or side parts. It suits anyone who wants a low-maintenance daily look, though flat-ironing after washing is usually needed to keep it silky.
Body Wave
A loose, all-over S-shaped wave that reads natural on almost any face shape. It suits both everyday and dressed-up looks and holds its bounce with a simple wrap-and-air-dry routine.
Deep Wave
Tighter, more defined waves than body wave, giving a wet-look curl straight out of the pack. It suits people who want volume without daily styling, though it benefits from a leave-in conditioner to prevent frizz.
Kinky Curly
A tight, coily pattern that closely matches 4B/4C natural hair for a seamless blend. It suits anyone protective styling over their own kinky-curly texture and needs regular moisturizing to stay defined.
Loose Wave
A soft, beachy wave that's looser than body wave and gives movement without heavy curl. It suits a relaxed, everyday style and needs only occasional refreshing with a curling wand between washes.
Italian Curly
A springy, well-defined ringlet pattern with plenty of bounce and body. It suits anyone who wants a curly look that still separates cleanly, and it holds its curl best with a diffuser rather than air-drying flat.
Burmese Curly
A dense, tight curl with a natural sheen, coarser than Italian curly. It suits units meant for daily wear over months, and it's low-maintenance — a light oil and finger-coiling keeps the pattern intact.
How to blend with your natural hair.
Start with your own texture at the root, not your goal texture. If your natural hair is straight or loosely wavy, body wave or loose wave blend at the leave-out with the least effort. If you wear a wash-and-go or twist-out day to day, kinky curly or Burmese curly will match your edges and crown without daily flat-ironing to disguise the seam.
For closures and frontals especially, matching curl pattern matters more than matching color — a slightly different shade blends better than a mismatched curl, since the eye reads pattern before it reads tone. When in doubt, message us a photo of your leave-out and we'll recommend the closest texture in stock.
